About me

My name is Jackie Robinson and my passion for baking ignited early in my childhood. Spending precious moments alongside my grandmother in the kitchen. Together we would whip up cakes and slices for the Red Cross Group, and share the leftovers for morning tea with pop.

As i grew, so did my culinary aspirations. Together with my mum, we bonded over episodes of Masterchef, turning our kitchen into a playground of culinary experimentation.

From ambitious attempts at choux pastry to the unforgettable laugher-filled moments of crafting a croquembouche, with limited success, those moments not only nurtured my love for baking but also instilled in me the importance of family.

But it wasn't just in the kitchen where my passion for cooking flourished. My beloved nana, with her boundless imagination and generosity, fueled my creativity through pretend cooking adventures. With an assortment of pantry staples, my sister and i would spend hours concocting our culinary masterpieces, eagerly anticipating the moment when nana would bring them to life in her oven.

It is these cherished memories of laughter and love that form the foundation of my passion for baking. I am eternally grateful for the close bond i share with my mother and both grandmothers, whose guidance and support continue to inspire me every day.
